Only for coastal and salt-spray exposure. V2A standard stainless steel is appropriate for inland NJ/NY properties; V4A is recommended within a mile of the shoreline.
Brushed and polished stainless steel are standard, with custom finishes (brushed brass, powder coat colors, etc.) available on request. We confirm options at quote time.
Yes — natively. DoorBird is one of the few intercoms with first-class HomeKit, KNX, Control4, Crestron, and Loxone support. Triggers run locally, not via cloud workarounds.
There are none for core functionality. Live video, two-way audio, and door release work indefinitely with no monthly cost. Optional DoorBird cloud history is available separately.
IP65 weather sealed and rated to −40°F. We deploy DoorBird across NJ/NY exposed entries year-round without weather-related failures.
The D210X range scales from 1 to 6 buttons. For larger directories, the D31TDH offers a touchscreen directory listing.
